Notary questions we hear often

What should I bring to a notary appointment?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID and the unsigned document — please don’t sign it beforehand, as most notarizations require you to sign in front of the notary.

Can you notarize documents for someone who can’t travel?

Yes — our mobile notary service comes to homes, hospitals, and offices for signers who aren’t able to travel to us.

Is remote online notarization legally valid in Tennessee?

Yes, for eligible document types. We’ll let you know during scheduling whether your specific document qualifies for remote online notarization.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended so we can have everything ready when you arrive. Call 865-236-0534 or reach out through our contact page.
